Gent Jay Jewelry was founded in 1983 by Gent Jay — a retired Sergeant with the San Leandro Police Department and former Alameda County Sheriff's Office. From the very beginning, the business was built on the same principles that guided his law enforcement career: integrity, service, and trust.
What began as a way to provide fellow officers and first responders with exceptional jewelry at honest prices grew into a full fine-jewelry practice serving the whole community — while never losing that founding commitment to the men and women who serve.
As a Graduate Gemologist of the GIA, Gent has spent more than forty years helping customers celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Every diamond and gemstone is hand-selected with a gemologist's eye — natural or lab-grown, always ethically sourced, and always at fair, transparent pricing.
